Mr. Harold Thomas Nalley, age 69, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Nalley was born on June 22, 1943 in Toccoa, GA to the late Major Thomas Nalley and Daisy Catherine Broom Nalley. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of Higher Ground Praise and Worship Church. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. Harold was preceded in death by brother, J.D. Nalley; sisters, Junie White and Sue Sevtain. He is survived by three daughters, Sharon Nalley of Cullman, AL, Kari Nalley of Blue Ridge, GA and Teri Nalley of Blue Ridge, GA; sons, Randy Nalley of Bessemer, AL and Joseph Nalley of Monroe, LA; brother, Don Nalley of Selma, AL; sisters, Dorothy Standridge of Toccoa, GA and Elsie Kinsey of Williamston, SC; and two grandchildren, Thomas Nalley and Leilani Herman.

Memorial services were held Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Harold Crowder officiating. Music was by The Crowder Family. Military honors were provided by North Georgia Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers were Joseph Nalley, Joe Herdman, Robert Green and Jeff Mullinax.
