Mark Anthony Mashburn, age 51, of Crandall, GA, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012. Mr. Mashburn was born in Polk County to the late Jack Alton and Arlene Dixon Mashburn. He was self-employed as a Rock Mason and was a member of the House of Prayer Church.

He is survived by a brother, Glenn Mashburn of Blue Ridge, GA; Niece, Teresa Burger of Crandall, GA, Nephew, David Mashburn of Crandall, GA, Great Niece, Arlene Geisler of Dalton, GA.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 23rd at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Gene Ware officiating. Pallbearers include Jeff Burger, Ricky Patterson, Chris Brown, Raymond LeGendre, Jimmy Noblitt, Ed Henson. Honorary pallbearer, Ray LeGendre. Interment will follow in the Hipps Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
