Harold Davenport, age 68, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Davenport was born in Fannin County, GA on May 24, 1944 to the late Harley Grady Davenport and Mary Edna Holt Davenport. He worked as a Fab Process Inspector of Lockheed.

He is survived by three brothers, Gerald Davenport of Culberson, NC, Earl Davenport of Jasper, GA, and Winston Davenport of McCaysville, GA; and a sister, Viola Raper of Copperhill, TN.

Graveside services were conducted Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ensley Family Cemetery with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Pallbearers were Donnie Davenport, J.K. Davenport, David Davenport, Wesley Davenport, Jeff Parker, and Justin Davenport. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
